For those that are able and prefer not to deal with insurance complexities, I also accept Private Pay
I use a three-tiered sliding scale:
Tier 3 $200 - I have enough financial resources to supplement the cost for more marginalized community members
Tier 2 $150 - I can live comfortably with all my basic needs being met and some luxuries
Tier 1 $100 - I am getting by well enough with basic needs being met
Insurance
I value accessibility and while insurance can be a headache to navigate, copays are often more affordable than paying out of pocket. So, I accept insurance and am always working to accept more options. Please reach out if you don't see your insurance listed.
If you are going through your insurance for appointments, fees will vary based on your deductible, copay, or co-insurance. The best way to verify is through your insurance.
Cancelation Policy
I ask for 24-hours notice for canceling appointments. My late cancel/no show fee is set at $60. I make an effort to be as accommodating as I can since life and being human is unpredictable - I typically reach out and offer shorter sessions (insurance covers appointments that are 16+minutes). I will not charge if you are sick, have an emergency, or are in crisis.
I do ask that you also make an effort to make and keep appointments as progress is difficult without consistency. This policy is meant to hold you accountable, ensure others can access services, and protect my time and livelihood.
